Milwaukee

Just another quick update. Kylee was transfered to Milwaukee Children's Hospital lastnight around 10:30 pm. Her respiratory status was getting worse and she was beginning to show signs of modeling so they felt she needed to be transferred to the PICU. It was a late night. I don't think we got to bed until 3:00 am and then had to be out of the sleeping room by 9:00 am. She is holding steady today. She is currently on 6 liters of oxygen which is down a little from yesterday. She is also a little more alert today. She is still sleepy but at least she responds to your touch and voice where yesterday she was not doing that. They are running lots of test and checking every little thing out to try and figure what is going on with her but they are thinking pneumonia and she is just not strong enough to fight it off on her own.
Thank you to everyone for all the prayers and words of encouragement.

Sorry to hear Kylee had to be transported, however, she is in an excellent hospital and will receive great care. Please know that Kylee and your entire family remain in my daily prayers.

Oh, I'm sorry you have to go through this. Keep strong, we've been there and she will be just fine. Like I said before, Alayna stayed in for 2 weeks on oxygen and had to have compression treatments were they would come in every so many hours and use this vibration thing on her back and then suction her out. She just couldn't fight with coughing and losen anything up. It all settled in her lungs. Antibiotics helped too. It was a very long 14 days so I know how you feel. But like my mom posted, she is in good hands and you are there for her. Please keep us posted. We are praying for all of you.

Thank you to both of you. Once again Kylee and Alayna are so similar. They are also doing those compressions on Kylee every few hours. She seems to be doing a little better tonight. I am sure it is going to be a long process but she is in very good hands. I will continue to post as often as I can. Thank you again for all the prayers and support.
